I've mentioned before that I originally drew these comics back in 2004 or so. What I didn't mention is that, as I've been rerunning them, I've left some out. One had a joke about John Ashcraft, for instance, that hasn't aged well. Most of them were filler for when I was about to miss a deadline. The comic reads better without the filler, but the numbering is thrown off, which is why the extra-sized 150th episode is now showing up as episode 139. Still, look at that--it's three strips in one! Let's imagine that we're celebrating the one-year anniversary of this particular incarnation of Fuzzball & Scuzzball, and move on.

My loving wife did the coloring. I like how she contrasted Fuzzball's brightly colored memories of the past with his dark and gloomy present.

Fuzzball's memories of the past are oddly similar to mine. All of the characters in this strip were created by Mr. D. Floyd French and me when we were in 4th and 5th grade, and all of them starred in their own comics. Like Fuzzball, I am nostalgic for those days, when we drew the thrilling adventures of Drip-Drop Man and Spot the Rainbow Dog.

I, too, am seriously missing those days. :( And damn if Drip-Drop Man doesn't look AWESOME the way she colored him! I'm gonna have to send her a message and ask how she does this coloring, seriously. I miss comics.
